What this project does

Sotstech Python Editor is a polished, dark-themed desktop IDE built on Tkinter, combining classic code-editor essentials (multi-tab editing, syntax highlighting, line numbers, a live output console) with a genuinely useful AI coding assistant powered by OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini. Select any block of code, describe what you want changed in plain English, and review the AI's rewrite before approving it — nothing is applied automatically. The editor also handles real-world execution gracefully: missing dependencies are detected and installed automatically via pip, matplotlib and OpenCV windows work out of the box, and input() calls are captured through a clean, modern dialog instead of freezing the console. It's distributed both as readable open-source Python code and as a single-file, dependency-free Windows executable built with PyInstaller.
